Arizona Schools Need Our Help PDF Print E-mail
May 18 is voting day in Arizona. Proposition 100, if passed, will temporarily raise the sales tax by one percent (or one cent for every dollar) until May 31, 2013. This sales tax increase is vital to education in our school and in our state.

Over the past few years, Sequoia Choice Arizona Distance Learning in particular and Arizona schools in general have taken large cuts in state funding. Losing this funding makes it difficult to continue to provide quality education to our students and future leaders. This bill will allow us to keep the funding necessary to properly run our school.

If you are over 18 years old and registered to vote, please take the time on May 18 to go out and vote your conscience on Proposition 100. (If you are not registered to vote, you can get registered today! It is too late to register for the May 18 vote, but primary season is coming up, as well as the general election on November 2.) If you would like to learn more about Proposition 100, follow the links below.
